The North Delta golf team came away with a second place finish in its first match of the season.

The Green played at Kirkwood Golf Course in Holly Springs, Monday afternoon. Winning first place was Oak Hill who shot a 358 on 18 holes.

North Delta shot a 361.

Scoring for the Green Wave were Jonathan Mackey, 86; Will Kidder, 91; Dennis King and Russ Lewis, 92 each.

The Green Wave team will be off until April 8 when they will host a match at Panola Country Club.
