Hardrick chose the Blaze over the Spokane Shocks.

“After a long and tough decision, I’m choosing the Utah Blaze over the Spokane Shocks. Utah has me as the No. 1 prospect this off season with one returning offensive lineman and penciled in starter,” he said.

“I chose Utah because it’s the best chance to play and to get back in the National Football League. Spokane said they’re bringing up seven guys for three spots.”

Hardrick said this is a very exciting time for him.

“I’m really blessed to continue my dream. I just want to play football. Utah was one play away from winning the Super Bowl and I think I can help enough and finally get the championship. They have the MVP of the AFL at quarterback so I’m excited.”

Hardrick said his goal is to be successful in life but his dream is the NFL

“Utah has sent many players to the NFL so it’s a great opportunity.”

Hardrick transferred from Ft. Scott Community college and in his junior year at Nebraska he started in all 14 games and was a starter at left tackle for the Huskers in 2011. The 6’7”, 320 pound Hardrick started all 13 games. He earned his bachelor’s degree in sociology from Nebraska in May of 2012.
