Clubs, churches, school groups, tractor and car clubs, and other organizations are invited to participate in the annual Batesville Christmas parade to be sponsored by the Batesville Lions Club on Tuesday, December 4. Perennial chairman Jerry Lightsey said only a handful of groups have registered so far.

“We really need them to call us and let us know they want to participate,” Lightsey said, as planning gets under way. The parade is less than six weeks away.

The theme is “Christmas in Dixie.”

The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. The route will go through downtown Batesville.
