In wet and cold conditions, anything that could have gone wrong for the Tigers team did go wrong.
South Panola’s only score score for the night came when senior safety Tony Conner intercepted Bentonville’s Reese Dollins’ pass and returned it 54  yards for touchdown. The extra point by Clayton Sibley which would have tied the game at seven was no good with 7:34 left in the first quarter.

Tiger leading rusher was Darrell Henderson with 64 yards on 15 carries. Rip Kirk completed five passes of 13 for 32 yards. Antavion Reed led with two receptions for 15 yards.

On the defensive side of the ball Conner had 11 tackles, one interception and one pass deflection.
The Tigers will be back in action next Friday to host the Horn Lake Eagles in the district opener at 7:30 p.m.
