Retired Mississippi Hall of Fame Football Coach Willis Wright is recovering from kidney transplant surgery performed Tuesday at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis according to a family members who said Wednesday that all vital signs and indicators look positive.
Both donor and recipient are doing well with Wright scheduled to come home Friday and his donor the day prior. Both went to private rooms bypassing ICU following the surgical procedures
