Ware holds the record at Northwest for the most tackles in a single game with 24 against Southwest. His single season record includes eighth in total tackles (130); second in assisted tackles (70); sixth in interceptions (8) and fourth in forced fumbles (7). His Northwest career records include fifth in total tackles (200); third in solo tackles (130); eighth in interceptions (10-tied with Tervas Sanford) and fifth in forced fumbles (7).

After Northwest, Ware was a standout player for the Ole Miss Rebels, lettering in 1992 and 1993. His most noteworthy play was a 91-yard fumble return against Auburn in the 1992 game. Ware tried out for the Indianapolis Colts and played in the Canadian Football League’s Vancouver Lions before playing one season with the Memphis Pharoahs before retiring from football. Since that time, Ware has been a personal trainer and coached at The University of Nevada at Las Vegas. He is returning to Ole Miss on the coaching staff as a trainer, and is currently working on completing his degree.

The keynote speaker for this year’s banquet is Jackie Sherrill, former head football coach at Mississippi State University. The banquet, which will begin at 6:30 p.m., will be held at the David M. Haraway Center on the Senatobia Campus.
