Electrical problems with the printing press will delay printing of the Friday edition.

Arrangements have been made to print the final section of the May 11 edition in Greenwood Friday morning. The newspapers will be ready for sale and delivered to vendors starting at noon Friday.

Mail delivery of the print edition will be delayed until Saturday.

“We regret the inconvenience to our readers, advertisers and employees,” publisher John Howell said. “It is inevitable that mechanical problems will occasionally arise and delay printing and delivery in spite of our best efforts. We do our best to avoid them.”

The Tuesday, May 15 edition should be printed and delivered on schedule.

The Friday online edition became available early Thursday evening.
