BJH holds spring practice

The Batesville junior high football teams have been practicing and preparing for their spring jamboree games.

About 55 eighth graders and 50 seventh graders have been practicing each day.

The seventh grade team will host a jamboree on April 12 starting at 5 p.m. The concession stand will be open and admission will be $5.00.

All fans are asked to sit on the visitor’s side of the stadium and the teams will sit on the home side.
The format will be 12 plays followed by eight plays. The ball will be placed on the 40 yard line.
In the division one category, Water Valley will play Pope in game one. In game two Lafayette will take on Water Valley. Pope will take on Lafayette for game three.

In the division two category South Panola will play Grenada. In game two Olive Branch will take on Grenada. In the last game Olive Branch will play South Panola.

The eighth grade team will play in a jamboree at Olive Branch on April 16 starting at 5 p.m.
