Get ready to search for eagles

The 30th annual Mid-Winter Bale Eagle Survey will be conducted at Sardis Lake on Saturday, January 7.

Volunteers are asked to come to the Sardis Lake Field Office at 7 a.m. for a brief presentation and breakfast before going out to count eagles. Volunteers are reminded to dress warmly, bring binoculars and join the Corps of Engineers staff for a chance to see our national bird.
