The 30th annual Eagle Watch will be held at Sardis Lake. Volunteers should dress warmly and come to the Sardis Lake Field Office at 7 a.m. Call 563-4531 for information.

Tea Party of Panola County will meet at 7 p.m. in the Batesville Public Library rear meeting room. Candidates for county election commissioner are invited to speak.
The Panola Democratic Party monthly meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the Batesville Courthouse
January 13-16
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend in Batesville will include a basketball tournament on Friday, a business expo on Saturday, a musical on Sunday, and a commemoration march on Monday morning. The march will end at Batesville Intermediate School where a King Day program will be held in the auditorium. For more information, contact Dr. Zannie Leland Jr. at 563-3020.
