Letter to the editor
Accident victim finds ‘Good Samaritans’

I would like to thank some very good citizens of Panola County.

On November 27, 2011,  I had an accident on Highway 315 south during a very rainy morning when my car hit a puddle of water. After spinning around in the road two or three times it left the road.

Thank God I was alone. The first person I remember seeing was Mr. Harold Newcomb and Mr. David Mills, an off-duty officer. Mrs. Lena Pegues and others, I am sorry I can not remember all names, but I thank God for all of you and to know there are still people who care.

Thank you and God bless you all.

Everyone be careful on Highway 315! There are some dangerous areas.
