Free throw troubles doom NP Cougars

By Myra Bean
The North Panola Cougars still struggle to find some consistent offense as they fell to Rosa Fort 73-55 in non-district action Tuesday.

Cougar head coach Dannis Jackson expressed a little frustration in the free throw shooting. The Cougars (2-5) shot 14 of 35 free throws against Rosa Fort. Rosa Fort led 22-7 at the end of the first quarter. North Panola rallied and outscored Rosa fort 15-12 in the second quarter and cut the lead 36-22 at halftime.

No matter what strategy the Cougars employed in the second half, they just could not catch up to the Lions to make a difference.
