The North Panola girls went 1-1 in the Water Valley tournament last week, losing to Charleston 31-27 Thursday and defeating Water Valley 51-30 Saturday.

Teariny Wheatley led the Lady Cougars Saturday with 10 points, five steals, four assists, one rebound and one block.

Also scoring were Kyla Webb, nine points; Onesha Hunt, eight points, eight rebounds; Darlyeshia Ward, six points, seven rebounds, two steals; Cearea Jackson, six points, two rebounds; Angelica Davison, five points, two rebounds, two steals, one assist; Takymdris Clay, three points, two steals; Tiara Golden, two points, eight rebounds; and Anna Johnson, two points.

The Cougar teams return to action tonight to host Rosa Fort in non-conference action beginning at 5 p.m. with the junior varsity game.
