Belinda Frances Johnson Henderson

CRENSHAW– Belinda Frances Johnson Henderson, 48, died Saturday, October 15, 2011, at her residence.
Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Senatobia Chapel of Ray-Nowell Funeral Home. Hal Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Longtown Cemetery.
She was a member of Crenshaw Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Johnson.
Survivors include: her husband of 31 years, Gary Lynn Henderson; two sons, Brandon Craig Henderson and Corey Lynn Henderson, all of Crenshaw; her father and step-mother, Jessie A. Johnson and Bonita Johnson of Sardis; one sister, Karen Ragon of Pope; two brothers, Brian Hitchcock and Barry Hitchcock, both of Batesville and one grandchild.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.

Joe Ada Jackson

COMO – Joe Ada Jackson, 91, died Thursday, October 13, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi.
Services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Ebenezer M.B. Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pate-Jones Funeral Home has charge.
She was a member of Ebenezer M.B. Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Jackson and one son, C.D. Jackson.
Survivors include: her daughters, Dorothy Danner of Memphis, James Ella Wilbourn of Como and Corinda Hill of Como; sons, A.J. Jackson of Memphis, William Perry Jackson of Como and James Otis Jackson of Como; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Tommy Louis Merriman

SARDIS– Tommy Louis Merriman, 66, died Thursday, October 13, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Desoto.
Services were held Saturday at First Baptist Church in Sardis. Burial was in Union Baptist Cemetery. Ray Nowell Funeral Home had charge.
Merriman, born June 27, 1945, to Mary Elizabeth Merriman and the late Allen  Merriman, was a member of First Baptist Church in Sardis. He served his country in the U.S. Army in the late 1960’s. He worked as a manager in the retail grocery business in  in Sardis and Coldwater most of his adult life.
Survivors along with his mother, include: his wife of 42 years, Gilda White Merriman; one daughter, Kim Merriman Sheley and husband, Craig; two grandchildren, Taylor and David Craig Sheley; one sister, Ann Merriman Williams and her husband, Tommy.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Sardis, Union Baptist Church Cemetery fund or the charity of the donor’s choice.
