The Panolian’s popular Batesville Magazine is readying for a fall/winter publication.

The Panolian’s editorial staff is finishing up more than a dozen magazine stories, including:
•   Panola Countians whose sporting talents have earned them Hall of Fame accolades
•   The Butler family’s famous tail gating truck
•   Local youth ministers who bonded and blended their youth ministries to create “2-4-2.”

Batesville Magazine has proven to be the most popular product published by The Panolian, said publisher John Howell Sr.

“The magazine, when it arrives at our office, hits the street quickly,” he said.

“We have to keep copies back so we’ll have some in the office.”
Batesville Magazine has also proven to be one of the most popular for advertisers, too.

“The support we receive from our readers and advertisers is tremendous,” Howell said.

“We will keep striving to make each publication of Batesville Magazine as good or better than the last.”
