July 4th celebration

The city of Batesville’s annual Fourth of July Celebration will be held Saturday, July 2 at Batesville Civic Center beginning at 6:30 in the afternoon until 10 p.m., according to Civic Center Director Roy Hyde.
Live music will feature local groups including the Willy Waggs and Tomfoolery with Tomfoolery beginning and the Willy Waggs ending the set before fireworks at 10 p.m.
Entertainment will include pony rides, petting zoo, rock wall, inflatables and monster truck rides capped off with fireworks by High-Tech Special Effects to end the evening. Concessions and refreshments will be available, there is no admission charge.
