Five local high school baseball standouts and a coach have been selected to participate in the State Games of Mississippi that will be played June 22-26 in Meridian.

North Delta’s Luke Latham and Bailey Gurkert along with South Panola’s Hunter Durham, Andrew Horne and Bobby Epps will be part of the District 1 squad. Epps made the team as an alternate. North Delta’s Duke McCrory will serve as head coach while Tunica Academy’s Jimmy Hicks will be the assistant.
