Mississippi State head football coach Dan Mullen welcomed the 2011 Bulldog football squad back to campus on Wednesday as first summer term classes began. Kendrick Market of South Panola was one of 15 new enrollees joining returning players at Mississippi State.
Other freshmen enrolling in summer classes include Dee Arrington, Taveze Calhoun, Devin Fosselman, Zachary Jackson, P.J. Jones, Daniel Knox, James Maiden, Justin Malone, Benardrick McKinney, Derrick Milton, Joe Morrow, Preston Smith and Rufus Warren.
The Southeastern Conference and ESPN announced times for Mississippi State’s first two conference football games of 2011 on Thursday as the Bulldogs open its conference slate against Auburn and LSU.
Televised by the SEC Network, Mississippi State and Auburn will kickoff at 11:21 a.m. CT on Sept. 10 from Jordan-Hare Stadium on the Auburn campus.
As previously announced, Mississippi State’s home opener against LSU will be televised nationally in prime time at 7 p.m. CT on ESPN.
Mississippi State begins its 2011 season Thursday, September 1 at Memphis.
