Panola County sheriff’s investigators responded to a stabbing and a shooting in two separate Easter weekend incidents.

Antoinette Monique Callicut is in custody for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend during an argument, said investigator Bill McGee.

Callicut, 26, of Batesville, allegedly stabbed Joshua Lester one time at a residence on Katherine Trail, located southeast of Batesville.

Johnson is at The Med in Memphis. Callicut is charged with aggravated assault.

McGee also reported Clifton Johnson was shot in the leg Sunday morning at a residence on Thomas Road, located west of Como.

Johnson was transported to The Med by air ambulance from the scene.

Travis Callicut, 23, of Como, is facing an aggravated assault charge for allegedly shooting Johnson.

Travis Callicut and Antoinette Callicut are unrelated, said the investigator.
