My taxes near Coles Point have doubled in the past four years.

It is my understanding that any tax increase requires a vote on the matter, but we’re being gouged illegally, it seems.

Perhaps your taxes are not being increased. Only isolated communities? But if you suffer as we are — many on fixed, limited income — perhaps you will publish this and similar articles. Fair play is extra needed in tough times. Hope you can help.
