The North Delta Jr. High Lady Green Wave basketball team wrapped up an undefeated district schedule with a 44-11 thumping of Marshall Monday night.

Erin Snider led North Delta (22-1) with 12 points as North Delta out-scored the Patriots 21-2 in the second half. Julianna Morrow and Jordan Pullen followed with six points while Callie Blake Masterson added five points to go along with nine tips.

Peyton Rico and Hastings Neal registered five points each while Mary Lynn Lewis and Claire Gant contributed with three and two points. Courtney DuBravec pulled down five rebounds.

Marshall did however gain a split in the junior high contests as the Pats took the boys game 40-21 over the Green Wave.

Tyler Beard led the way for North Delta with five points followed by Bradley Booth and Ridge Simmerman with four points each.

The teams are participating in the district tournament this week in Indianola but results were not available at presstime.

Championship games will be played tomorrow.
