Vic Henson is directing the production, which lasts about an hour.

“We feel this will be a good little treat for everyone,” Henson said. “There will be lots of Broadway music the audience will be familiar with.”

Singers from Ole Miss, Mississippi College, Northwest Community College and Delta State will be performing in a concert format with music theatre dramatization. They will perform 18 musical selections.

In preparation for another upcoming event, The Playhouse will conduct an audition workshop on Saturday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. to help potential actors prepare for auditions for The Sound of Music, to be presented at the Playhouse in June. The cost for the workshop is $20.

Actors ages 6 and up are needed for that musical. Auditions will be held April 10 at 9 a.m. and April 12 at 6 p.m.
