BATESVILLE– Emily Kathryn Towles Mangrum, 93, died Monday, May 18, 2009, at Fairfield.

Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church. Dr. Johnny Spencer will officiate. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church. Wells Funeral Home has charge.

Mangrum, born March 27, 1916, to the late Cullen Towles and the late Alice Legge Towles, was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Mangrum and one son, Calvin Randall Mangrum.

Survivors include: one daughter, Judy Mangrum Clark of Signal Mountain, Tenn.; two sons, Dennis Mangrum and his wife Peggy of Batesville and Phillip Mangrum and his wife Barbara of Jackson; one sister, Martha Hill of Tunica and six grandchildren, Emily Clark, Jennifer McCain, Kimberly Van Uden, Charlie Mangrum, Mandy Mangrum and Kelly Chambers; three great-grandchildren, Emily Kathryn Van Uden, Anna McCain and Lucy McCain.
