Betty Scruggs, 53, passed away June 1, 2021, at her home in Sardis.

Funeral services for Betty were held Friday, June 4,  in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. The family received friends beginning at 10 a.m.. Interment was held at Faith Chapel Holiness Church Cemetery.

Betty was born Jan.22, 1968, to Betty Elizabeth Manning Baldwin and the late Arthur Roy Baldwin in Eudora, AR. She was a homemaker during her lifetime who took pride in raising her 4 children with her husband Jessie.

Betty enjoyed fishing, riding in the country, going to the zoo and Liberty Land in Memphis. She adored her grandchildren and loved to watch them play at the park. She was of the Baptist faith.

Betty was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Roy Baldwin; 3 brothers, Charles Baldwin, John William Baldwin, and Arthur Lee Baldwin.

The loving family she leaves behind includes her husband, Jessie Rayford Scruggs of Sardis; children, Tonya Michelle Baldwin of Crossett, AR., Jessica Meland Scruggs of Pine Bluff, AR., Kimberly Ann Scruggs also of Pine Bluff, AR., Jessie Rayford Scruggs, Jr. of Sardis; sisters, Mary Ann Williams of Coldwater, Linda Graham of Senatobia; brother, Roy Baldwin of Coldwater; and 9 grandchildren.
