No one yet charged in murder

Police are continuing their investigation into the November 17 shooting death of Marcus Lee, Batesville Deputy Police Chief Jimmy McCloud said.
Lee was killed by an unknown assailant in an afternoon attack at Panola First Stop, 315 Panola Avenue.
The investigation immediately following the shooting led to the arrest of Keldrick Henderson on charges of burglary and trespass, but authorities have not charged him in Lee’s death. McCloud referred questions to the office of District Attorney John Champion. An attempt to contact assistant District Attorney Steve Hale was not successful.
