Voters return to polls in judge race runoff

Panola Countians will return to the polls Tuesday, November 29, for a runoff election for Supreme Court Justice District 3, Position 1. The top two vote-getters in the November 8 election were John Brady and Bobby Chamberlin.
Paper ballots will be used for this election, according to Kaye Smythe, chairman of the Panola County Election Commission. All 24 precincts in the county will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., she said.
The Panola County Circuit Clerk’s office will be open Saturday  from 8 until noon for absentee voting in both courthouses.
