Posey N. Egerson, 66, died September 24, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi Oxford.
Serices were held Sunday, October 1 at Eddie Robinson Funeral Home in Batesville. Burial was held at New Providence Cemetery.
Egerson was born Sept. 3, 1949.

Katherine Perkins Lewellyn

Katherine Perkins Lewellyn, age 88, widow of the late Red Lewellyn, passed away Friday afternoon, September 30, 2016 at West Hills Health and Rehab in Knoxville, Tenn.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2016  in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the family receiving friends beginning at 12 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Sardis.
Katherine was born May 24, 1928 in Panola County, to the late Willie and Rosie Johnson Perkins. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Katherine is survived by three daughters, Mary Katherine Sayers of Athens, Tenn., Maxine Ryan and Susan Brown, both of Knoxville; son, Larry Lewellyn of Clarksdale; two sisters, Virginia Perkins Thompson of Elkart, Ind., Rosemary Perkins Beard of Batesville; two brothers, Russell Perkins of Memphis, Jimmy Perkins of Raleigh; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great-children.

Travis W. Tutor

Travis W. Tutor, 54, passed away in the early morning hours of Saturday, October 1, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi.
Memorial services were held Sunday, October 2, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home.
Travis was born August 2, 1962, in Marks to the late Herman and Maurice McGregory Tutor. Travis worked in construction before becoming disabled.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Dennis Tutor.
He is survived by his three children, Courtney Lynette Burnworth of Batesville, Rachel Tutor of Ohio and Randall Tutor of Courtland; two sisters, Wanda Tutor Stevens of Tupelo and Shelia Tutor of Sardis, three brothers, Terry Tutor of Batesville, Ronnie Tutor of Batesville, Randall Tutor of Como, Troy Tutor of Crowder.
