The Mississippi State University Panola County Alumni Chapter will hold its annual Send Off Party at the MSU Extension-Panola County Building at 245-C Eureka Street, Batesville, from 6 to  8 p.m.
There is no fee to attend. Incoming and transfer students from Panola and Tallahatchie Counties are invited to attend. Students need to respond with their t-shirt size.
Food will be furnished by active alumni. Dress is casual.

Current South Panola High School football season ticket holders may purchase their 2016 season tickets from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at South Panola High School July 18 through July 29.
Chair-back stadium seats are $75, while regular stadium seats are $55. For more information, call 662-563-4756.
Those who are not currently season ticket holders, but wish to take part, may purchase tickets from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at South Panola High on Aug. 1 through 5.

Saturday, August 13
The South Panola baseball program will host a golf tournament at Mallard Pointe Golf Course. Tee off is set for 1 p.m.
 A team of four costs $300, and the winning team will receive $500. All other proceeds will benefit the SP baseball program.
Registration will begin at 11 a.m., but those wishing to pre-register may contact Coach Jake Mills at 662-607-1146 or via email, jmills@spsd.k12.ms.us.
Hole sponsorships are also available in the form of signs (24 inches by 36 inches): One sign, $100; two signs, $150; and three signs for $200.
