Darryl Wesley Still-Griffin
Darryl Wesley Still-Griffin passed away Saturday evening, March 19, 2016, at his home in Batesville.
A memorial service for Mr. Darryl will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2016, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and then after. Wells Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

William “Noody” Gale Huston
William “Noody” Gale Huston, 57, formerly of Batesville died Friday, March 18, 2016 at his home in Olive Branch, MS.
Born in Memphis, TN, Mr. Huston was the president of Memphis Filter/Air Quality Technology. He enjoyed boating, camping, music (classic rock), going to concerts with his wife and spending time talking to people. He also enjoyed sitting and talking with the elderly. Mr. Huston was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church of Olive Branch.
Memorial services were held Sunday, March 20 at New Beginnings Baptist Church in Olive Branch Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch had charge of local arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy Bailey Huston of Olive Branch, MS; a son, William Tyler (Laura) Huston of Southaven; a brother, Archie Osborne of Columbus.
His parents, William Thomas and Sadie Huston, and a daughter, Heather Huston, preceded Mr. Huston in death.
Memorials may be made to New Beginnings Baptist Church of Olive Branch or Central Church in Southaven.
Piper Lee Moore
Piper Lee Moore, new born infant of Lauren Marie and Brooks Eliotte of Senatobia, died March 16, 2016, at the UAMS Hospital in Little Rock, Ark.
Graveside services were held Monday at the Senatobia Memorial Cemetery. Chris Williams of First Baptist Church in Senatobia officiated.
Annie Mae Russell
Services for Annie Mae Russell, 78, were held at Cold Springs Methodist Church, Sunday, March 12. Interment followed at the church cemetery with Rev. Ricky Busby presiding.
She died March 9 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford.
Born in Yazoo City, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Russell and sister Rosie Busby.
A member of Cold Springs Methodist Church, she attended Mississippi School for the Deaf where she met her husband of 58 years, Joe Russell of Cold Springs.
She is also survived by daughter Mary Ann Russell, son Joey Russell, grandchildren Robin Russell, Rebecca Russell, Heather Rayner and Peggy Rayner, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces.
Dickins Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Lynda Aldy Weaver
BATESVILLE–Lynda Aldy Weaver, 67, died March 16, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North MS.
Funeral services were March 19 at Wells Funeral Home. Interment was in Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville.
Weaver was born February 25, 1949 in Winfield, La. to the late Billy Ray Aldy and Agnes Cheek Aldy. She was a retired LPN and member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Batesville.
