South Panola fastpitch and baseball teams, along with the Batesville Jr. High teams held Meet the Tigers Saturday. During the ceremony, a tree was planted in memory of Charles Hicks, better known as Pawpaw Hicks who passed recently. He was the grandfather of head coach Ashleigh Hicks and a staunch supporter of the team. He was known for supplying the girls with Snickers candy bars before every game.
