December 14
Elgin Jermain Lamar, 101 Tindall Cove, Batesville, was sentenced to five years MDOC and five years PRS.
Robert Earl Givins, 4384 MS Hwy. 17, Carrolton, was arrested and charged with false pretense. The case will be heard in Justice Court.
Lisa Weeks Pearson, 210 Georgia St., Batesville, was arrested and charged with domestic violence. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.
Marcus Deshawn Butler, 36 Elbert Smith Rd., Batesville, was arrested and charged with domestic violence. The case will be heard in Justice Court.
Casey Clayton Melton, 8324 Pope Water Valley Rd., Pope, was arrested and charged with simple possession of marijuana. The case will be heard in Justice Court.
December 15
Armand Vi Jay Shegog, 302 Park Place, Sardis, was arrested and charged with one count of cocaine, one count of recidivist (repeated offender). The case will be heard in  Circuit Court.
Mondarious L. Armstead, 4238 Curtis Rd., Batesville, was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance and possession of stolen firearm. The case will be heard in Circuit Court.
Joshua Mandella Cannon, 131 Vance St., Batesville, was arrested and charged with two counts of sell of cocaine, petit larceny, burglary of a commercial building and burglary of car. The case will be heard in Circuit Court.
Janicholas Vankeith Scott, 336 Greenhill Rd., Sardis, was arrested and charged with one count of recidivist (repeated offender), one count of sale of cocaine, possession of controlled substance with intent to sell-four counts. The case will be heard in Circuit Court.
James Calvin Mosley Jr., 1031 Bethlehem Rd., Batesville, was arrested and charged with possession with intent and armed robbery and possession of cocaine with intent. The case will be heard in Circuit Court.
Tiffany Tawana Johnson, 176 Otto Sanford Sub., Courtland, was arrested and charged with conspiracy and possession of marijuana. The case will be heard in Circuit Court.
Klamisha Janee Smith, 21074 Hwy. 310 East, Como, was arrested and charged with expired tag and driving while license suspended. The case will be heard in Sardis Municipal Court.
