Dorothy F. Foster
BATESVILLE–Dorothy F. Foster, 92, died February 7, 2015, at her home. Mrs. Foster was the widow of the late Robert Foster of Batesville.

Born November 22, 1922 to the late Fred B. Ferrell and Mattie Lou Ferrell, Mrs. Foster taught 5th and 7th grade English at Pope School for 43 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Batesville where she was involved with WMU, clothes closet, Keenagers, and was a Sunday School teacher.

Services were held  February 11 at the First Baptist Church in Batesville. Dr. Tommy Snyder officiated. Interment followed at Magnolia Cemetery. Wells Funeral Home had charge.

She is survived by her daughter Debbie Foster May of Senatobia; one son, Mike Foster of Midland, Texas; two sisters, Sarah Rose Boyd of Franklin Tenn., and Barbara Briscoe of Tupelo; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren
