Aundricus L. Draper, 22, was indicted during the July session of the Panola County Grand Jury, Second District. Draper is accused in the December 23, 2013 crash at Highway 6 East and the Terza/Lawrence Bros. intersection that killed Arrington.

Arrington was married to the former Gail Perkins of Batesville.

Draper’s was the second DUI death indictment returned by the Second District grand jury this year.

In May grand jurors indicted Timothy Deshun Benson, 35, of Pope for the death of Joe Willie Watson.

Watson was killed November 29, 2013 in a crash on Hentz Road near Pope.

Circuit Judge Jimmy McClure, in an order June 4, set Benson’s bail at $10,000.

In other grand jury activity related to DUI offenses, Randall Lamar Bolton, 55, entered a plea of not guilty for a felony DUI indictment handed down by grand jurors during their April term.

The indictment alleges that Bolton operated a vehicle under the influence of alcohol on March 1. It cites previous DUI convictions in Jan., 2013 and Feb. 2012 as the basis for the felony charge.

On July 10, Bolton entered a plea of not guilty to the felony charge. He is represented by attorney Tommy Defer, court records state.

Two prior convictions for DUI are also the basis for a felony DUI indictment against David Conner, 46, of Batesville.

Conner was charged with DUI on February 22 after having been previously convicted for DUI  in July, 2013 and Feb. 2012.

Circuit Judge Smith Murphy set bail at $2,500 in Conner’s case.
