“They did good,” Higdon said. “They are learning some new schemes both offensively and defensively.”
He said they pick up the schemes okay but have to continue to absorb what they are being coached.
This team will be the ninth grade team in the fall.
Some notable players include defensive linemen Robert Hentz and Calvin Hankins.
“They played well on defense,” Higdon said.
On offense, Higdon pointed out Jordan Strong, Deadrian Cooper and offensive lineman Thomas Turner.
He said the first two ran the ball well.
“It was a good spring for all players,” Higdon said.
