Auctioneer Mark Lipscomb found a lively crowd of bidders at the Batesville Lions Club Saturday night for a benefit for Will Lawrence. Friends of Lawrence, who was critically injured in a vehicle accident a few weeks ago, raised about $106,000 to help defray his medical and other expenses.
