Como Police Chief Fred Boskey resigned Wednesday after leading the town’s small police department since 2010. He had first joined the department in 2009.

“I enjoyed serving the citizens of the Town of Como,” Boskey said. “It was my honor and privilege.”
Boskey said that he had decided it would be his best interest to resign and allow the new elected board to name his successor.

“I’ll still be available to the citizens of Como if they need me,” Boskey said. “My phone number will be the same.”
