South Panola Schools Superintendent-select Tim Wilder has been busy interviewing applicants for at least three positions according to interim superintendent Mike Foster.

Names will be forthcoming at next Tuesday’s monthly board of trustee meeting, Foster said.
Wilder is currently employed in the Grenada School District serving as administrative assistant, but

Foster explained Tuesday that Wilder has been busy interviewing applicants for positions of assistant superintendent, high school principal, and band director during time spent on site in Batesville.

The positions have been offered, Foster, who has been sitting in on interviews, said Tuesday.
Wilder’s contract with South Panola will not officially begin until July 1 although school officials have hinted that Wilder may be working under a temporary contract, at least part time, getting his administrative team into place.
