In Lady Tiger news, South Panola’s fastpitch softball pitcher Nicole Fullilove was named to the Clarion-Ledger’s high performer list last week. The ninth grader pitched a no hitter, struck out 11 in the following game, had key game hits and picked up RBIs.

Fullilove has only allowed six runs and 13 hits after facing 105 batters.

Head Coach Ashleigh Hicks said, ”Fullilove works extremely hard and deserves this honor. I’m so blessed to coach her and this team. I’m so excited and happy for her.”

The Lady Tigers are currently riding a 5-0 undefeated record.

The Lady Tigers will play in the Clarkdale Spring Fling which will be held in Meridian at Northeast Ball Park this weekend. The Lady Tigers will play the following schedule:

Friday-March 16,  SP vs. Newton County at 6:30 p.m. on  Field 2

Friday-March 16,  SP vs. Germantown at 8 p.m. on  Field 3
Saturday-March 17, SP vs St. Patrick at 11:30 a.m. on  Field 2
Saturday-March 17, SP vs Poplarville at 2:30 p.m. on Field 2.
