Defending National Champions and 6A state champion South Panola Tigers will open the 2011 football season Saturday in West Point.

The game pits state champs vs. state champs as West Point claimed the 5A title last year.

Tickets for the game will be on sale at South Panola Thursday and Friday, August 18 and 19 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Only 1,450 visitor seats are available for $8. South Panola fans who want to sit in the visitor stands are encouraged to buy their tickets here.

At West Point, temporary seating with a different ticket color will be available on the hill by the stand when visitor tickets run out.

South Panola will also be selling football T-shirts for $15 and $16 (sizes XXL and larger).

The Old Bryan food plant will be available for parking. Buses will  be available to shuttle fans to the stadium.

SP vs. Hoover

Tickets for the Saturday, August 27 ESPN televised game between South Panola and Hoover will go on sale at South Panola Thursday, August 25.

Tickets will be $12 at the high school and $15 at the game.

The tickets will be sold from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Game day T-shirts will also be sold.
