The North Delta back-to-back district championship team starts its 2011 campaign Friday in the Magnolia Heights tournament.

The Lady Green Wave ended the 2010 season in the first round of the North State tournament.

Friday, North Delta will face Lee, Ark. at noon, followed by Clarksdale Lee at 3 p.m.

Saturday, North Delta will face Hebron Christian at noon and Delta Academy at 3 p.m.

On August 5, North Delta will play in the Kirk Academy Tournament in Grenada.

The Lady Green Wave will start regular season play against district foe Kirk Academy on August 9 in the home opener.
