For that, Kearney was named to the Miss-Lou Conference first team All-Conference and earned tournament MVP honors.

Kearney averaged 17.8 points per game and 11 rebounds per game in the team’s 25-5 season.

Her coach Hilary Allen told the Meridian Star, “Chasity hasplayed really well down the stretch. No doubt about it. A double-double with a lot of points, but she’s also been getting a lot of offensive rebounds, and some big defensive rebounds.”

The 2010 South Panola graduate led the team to the district championship her senior year.
