Batesville aldermen will open bids today for concession proposals for the Civic Center.

The bid opening is among items on the agenda for first Tuesday meeting of the board of mayor and aldermen which starts at 2 p.m.

A public hearing is scheduled for 3 p.m. to allow comment on a zoning ordinance amendment which would change setback requirements for construction near ditches.

Two clean-up hearings are also scheduled. Robert Pride Jr. and Rivers Pride will have the opportunity to respond to the city’s request for cleanup at their property at 882 Highway 6 West.

Other citizens with property in the vicinity will also be allowed to comment.
