The South Panola School District’s Board of Trustees will present proclamations honoring the 2010 Mississippi 6A and National Champion South Panola Tigers and SP head coach Lance Pogue at a reception Tuesday in the South Panola High cafeteria.

The high school is sponsoring the reception to celebrate the many team and individual accomplishments its players that culminated in the Tigers being named national champions by USA Today Super 25, Maxpreps Excellent 25 and rivals.com.

Coach Pogue’s recognition includes having been selected USA Today All-USA Coach, Russell Athletics Coach of the Year, US Army All American Coach and the Clarion-Ledger’s Sportsman of the Year.

The reception will be from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
