Jeterrica Amos, a seventh grader at Batesville Junior High School, won the Panola County Spelling Bee Friday morning. She’s shown with her parents, Terry and Jacqueline Amos. Jeterrica is Panola’s top speller for the second year in a row, and will represent the county in the Mid-South Spelling Bee this spring in Memphis. Last year she placed sixth in the regional bee.
