North Delta downs Simpson Academy to stay alive; South Panola rolls over Grenada in 56-0 shutout

North Delta will play for the North Half championship for the first time since 2004 with a 28-17 win over Simpson Academy Friday night.

The Green Wave had a slight 20-17 lead with 2:45 left in the game. In a heads up play, Sy Pritchard caught a Simpson fumble in the air. Instead of downing the ball where he was, he proceeded down the field in the opposite direction dragging a host of Cougars with him.
