Police want to talk to men who saw car
By Billy Davis
Batesville police want to question two black males about a restored Ford Mustang that disappeared from the Mississippi Distributors plant over the weekend.
Mustang owner Freddy Nosef, hoping to sell the automobile, showed the car to the men Thursday evening. When the sun came up Friday morning, the red sports car was gone.
The car is valued at $25,000, according to police.
Two flat-screen TVs and a DVR player were also stolen from the building.
“We consider the men persons of interest,” said BPD Detective Paul Shivers.
The men were driving a black Tahoe when they visited the plant Thursday, according to a police report filed by BPD patrolman Daniel Chandler.
