John Jerry is a Dolphin

Ole Miss offensive guard John Jerry of Batesville was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the third round as the 73rd overall pick Friday night.

Jerry follows big brother Peria into the NFL as Peria was a first round draft choice by the Atlanta Falcons in 2009.

John Jerry is a 2005 graduate of South Panola and helped lead the Tigers to two state championships and three appearances in the Big House.

Ole Miss teammate Dexter McCluster went as the No. 36 week in teh second round to the Kansas City Chiefs.
