Lila Faye Burns

COURTLAND— Lila Faye Moore Burns, 90, died Monday, March 29, 2010, at Tri-Lakes Medical Center.

Services were Wednesday at Wells Funeral Home. Burial was in Forrest Memorial Park. Wells Funeral Home had charge.

Burns, born March 16, 1920, to the late Henry Taylor and Gordie Welch Moore, was a homemaker and a member of Courtland Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, F.W. Burns.

Survivors include: two daughters, Lois Ann Bolen of Batesville and Arthurene Ullrich of Coldwater; one son, William “Punk” Burns and his wife, Nancy of Batesville; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Courtland Baptist Church.

Tommie Butts

SARDIS—Tommie Butts, 87, died Thursday, March 25, 2010.

Services were Thursday at Liberty Hill C.M.E. Church in Como. Burial was in Liberty Hill Church Cemetery in Senatobia. Rodgers Funeral Home had charge.

Butts was a retired mechanic.

Survivors include: two daughters, Lucille Lowe of Sardis and Yzonn Orange of Oxford; one son, Willie Gene Butts of Sardis; two sisters, Annie Lester Wren and Louise Morris, both of Como; one brother, Jack Butts of Como; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mary Jane McGregory

COURTLAND—Mary Jane McGregory, 59, died Thursday, April 1, 2010, at Cancer Treatments Centers of America in Zion, Ill. She was the wife of Steve McGregory.
