Minister comes to defense, praise  of friend accused in threatening

I am a long-time close friend of Jamie Tedford. I was introduced to Jamie when I was pastor of the Crowder Baptist Church in 2000. Since that day we met, Jamie asked me to mentor him as he grew in Christ on faith.

We have studied God’s word together, prayed together and he has spoken to our church in revival at Crowder. We have spent much intimate and personal time in the last ten years with the Tedfords.

My wife Laura Leigh and I have seen a man who loves his wife, children and friends and stands up for us! Jamie is a person my wife and I cannot be objective about. We love him and his dear family who he loves and protects daily. The crime Jamie has been accused of is of a father standing up for his daughter. I call that a promise keeper to God.
