Advocate seeks support to get vet exemption bill out of committee

Can you spare a cup of coffee and five minutes for a worthy cause? If there is one bill that deserves passage by the Miss. Legislature this year, it is one of the bills introduced to provide a full homestead exemption for permanently and totally (service-connected) disabled veterans who sacrificed their ALL protecting yours and my freedoms in America.

The bills have been introduced, but they will go NOWHERE like the past three years if Mississippi voters don’t encourage our legislators to vote them out of committee. I fully believe a majority of our legislators will support the bill, IF they are allowed a chance to vote on it.

The cost for this entire legislation to you = maybe two cups of McDonald’s coffee and approximately five minutes of time for a whole year.

I plead with you to send an e-mail or a letter to the members of the Senate Finance Committee and House Ways and Means Committee asking for their vote to ALLOW the full Senate and House to vote on these bills. You will find the e-mail addresses on the home page of  www.disabledmississippiveterans.com

Thanks for your support.
